Genmaicha

This Genmai Tea is a blend of roasted brown rice green tea with matcha from Kyoto. This fragrant genmaicha has a refreshing aroma of rice and toasty taste with a hint of sweetness. Genmai Matcha Suzu is made with sencha green tea and Japanese rice that has been soaked in water and then deeply roasted to create toasted rice. Often, some rice pop open during the roasting process, hence the white pieces in the tea that look similar to popcorn.
